Pouring them yourself can be very difficult and time consuming and is not recommended if you are at all unsure of what you are doing. For this you will need to make forms out of boards in the size and shape you want, dig the ground up, and probably put gravel down first.

The premade slabs are much easier to deal with and they have a lot of options available. They come in different sizes, shapes, and even colors to fit your every need. You can decorate your garden in any way that please you and make your own personal statement.

You can also use these to create a patio for you garden area. One garden I saw had a small patio as the center point with flower beds lined with garden slabs as accents and around the edges. You can create virtually any look you want with these for your yard or garden.

A professional job will cost you a lot more and you don’t get the same sense of personal satisfaction that you will when you have done it yourself. The only real plus in having then garden paving slabs laid professionally is that it saves you time and work, which may be best if you are not able to lift or simply can’t find the time.

No matter what you use them for, these slabs are sure to add something special to any yard or garden. You may find you have more uses for them than you thought possible. This is a great project for you to work on with a partner and it may even add value to your home if you decide to sell.
