1- All weeds grnerate many seeds that spread with the wind and rain. Some seeds can travel many miles. Therefore it is important to kill weeds when they are young before they generate seeds. This way its easier to control all season long!
2- All weed killers are hazardous to humans and pets until they are absorbed to there intended target. Allow sufficient time (read the warning label that comes with the product) before letting humans and pets in treated area.
