Surveillance cameras are now an ever increasing part of society, you can find them everywhere. Shopkeepers, schools, colleges, workplaces and public buildings all have security systems to keep themselves and the public safe and monitored. Although some people feel this is a violation of their human rights, it is making the world a safer and more protected place.
Law enforcers use security systems more than any other area. In most cities officers are usually outnumbers and on most occasions there are too many crimes for everyone on duty. In order to monitor the situation in various locations at once these are used relentlessly. Best of all they are discreet and can see everything from minor parking violations to theft or even murder. When law enforcers see something out of place they can get dispatched to the proper location in a faster amount of time. Plus, security systems are used as evidence in several cases to prosecute and sentence criminals.

Back in the day it was fact that the only ones who had security alarm systems were either rich or famous. Thankfully for us those days are no longer and we are seeing more and more affordable alarm systems become available to the average punter off the street.
It is now common that the DIY enthusiast in us all is buying these home security devices. These alarms can come in many different varieties but they will always be either hard wired or wireless alarms.
When shopping around you may also hear that they will either be closed circuit or open circuit alarms. This simply refers to the way the alarm is triggered and doesn’t affect the overall performance of the alarm.
Another very cool feature to add to your security alarm systems is the addition of motion sensors and detectors. These are very useful as they can actually identify movement within a set area of your home or residence.
One thing also that is important to remember is that you can also customise certain aspects of your motion sensor so that it only detects objects you wish. For example if you have a cat or dog or any pet that moves around your house, you can set the alarm up to ignore your pet and only focus on human movement.

At one time or another many of us will be trying to decide upon some new outdoor lighting for our houses. There are a few different reasons you might be installing exterior lights. Some times it is just to light up your landscaping so you may enjoy it at night. Other reasons are for your own safety when walking outside at night, and lastly, more light means less chance of a break-in. If you think about which goals you want to achieve before designing your lighting plan, you can probably cover all aspects with one single design.
Likely the most important function of outdoor lighting related to the security of yourself, you home and your family. Nothing deters unwanted intruders than a well lit location. One of the best and easiest ways of achieving security lighting is to install motion detector flood lights. These can be installed at each corner of your home. These lights can be set at such a level that the odd neighborhood cat will not set them off.

Is it true that the stopping power of stun gun has everything to do with the voltage? In most cases Yes!. I will explain.
When looking to purchase a stun gun. Why doesn’t everyone just go out and buy the most powerful? Most people don’t really know why they should pick the most powerful one they can afford. We will go over why.
Due to recent advances in the technology of a stun gun, the power or voltage has increased 10-20 fold. While keeping the amps low the voltage has increased significantly. You can now find stun gun on the market today between 100000 and 2.6 million volts.
How much of a difference can the voltage really make? The results are staggering and can literally save your life. I am not suggesting a low voltage stun gun will no work, I am simply explaining the difference. Lets consider a lower power one at first like the 300,000 volt models out there. Remember you can use the stun gun anywhere on the persons or animals body. Even the pinkie finger.

by Inside Out Security
Home security products are available from various suppliers in the Bedford & Milton Keynes areas ranging from DIY stockists to large security companies. Many suppliers specialize in one or two areas of security, whereas “Inside Out” tends to deal with quite a wide range of products and services providing their customers with collapsible security grilles, vandal protection screens and shed bars to name but a few.
Home security is becoming more of an essential rather than a “nice to have” in these uncertain times. That is exactly why you should ensure that the security you have installed, will do the job it is intended for. For example if you are going to have collapsible security grilles on your windows and doors, make sure they carry the “secure by design” or the “LCPB” logos. These logos let you know that the products are police preferred or insurance standard grilles. So if you want good quality security give “Inside Out” a call and they will make sure, your security is up to a standard, not down to a price.
